Comedy and Cash for Bangladesh
After last year's smashing success, BSA is back with Comedy for Cash to
support a different charitable cause and bigger and better comedians! This year's profits are going to the MAA Foundation, dedicated to promoting the advancement of childhood education in Bangladesh and Uganda.

Thursday, February 26

Doors open 7:30 pm. Show timing is from 8 - 9:30pm.

Tickets: $15 in advance, $17 at the door.

Veue: OISE Auditorium, 252 Bloor W, U of T St. George Campus.

Tickets will be sold at the BSA office during the following office hours:
Monday: 3-5pm
Tuesday: 4-6pm
Wednesday: 4:30-7:30pm
Thursday: 5-7pm
Friday: 1-3pm and 6-8pm

The BSA office is located at 500G, 40 Willcocks Street (Wilson Hall,New
College), Willcocks & Spadina. If these times do not work for you, you can

Event Description

On February 26th in Toronto, “Comedy and Cash for Bangladesh 2” will feature one of Canada’s most popular comedians, Debra DiGiovanni, a veteran of Just for Laughs, Last Comic Standing and Video On Trial. Debra will be joined by some of Toronto’s funniest comics in an effort to raise funds to provide scholarships to needy children in Bangladesh. 

 

Performers include John Ki, (winner of the 2006 Q107 “Funniest Person With a Day Job” contest), Dave Merheje (the star of the “We Ain’t Terrorists” comedy tour), Steve Scholtz (nominated for the 2007 Tim Sims Encouragement Fund), Alex Kojfman (star of Colours of Comedy), and Ryan Maglunob.  Comedian Saad Kiyani will host the show.

 

The first Comedy and Cash for Bangladesh was a smash success with 300 people attending, and the show is expected to sell out this year!  With a great lineup of comedians, this will be a great night of comedy for a great cause!
